Programme

Involving the community of Haringey and beyond is central to the Firing London’s Imagination project, from school workshops to community drop-ins.

KS1-lower KS2 Woodland workshop

Explore map skills, nature identification and the Wood’s rich history, including its key role in providing pottery to Roman Londinium. Interested in offering this workshop to your students? Contact us.

KS2 Hands-on archaeology & clay session

Led by one of the Firing London’s Imagination educators, this 90-minute workshop explores London’s rich history  through key archaeological finds in the city. Students then have the chance to handle Roman pottery fragments discovered in Haringey by archaeologists and then are guided through the steps of creating a replica 1st Century Roman ‘Highgate Ware’ pot. Contact us for more details.
