The Friends of Roman Highgate Kiln (Registered charity no.1177405) was set up in 2019 to raise funds for the conservation of the kiln and for the opening of a visitor centre in Highgate Wood. You can find out more about the organisation here.

The City of London Corporation maintains around 10,000 acres (40 km2) of public green spaces– mainly conservation areas / nature reserves – in Greater London and its surrounding counties. Aside from Highgate Wood, CoLC also maintain the well-known conservation areas of Hampstead Heath ad Epping Forest. More

The London Borough of Haringey covers an area of more than 11 square miles (28.5 km2) and includes large areas of green space, which make up more than 25% of its total area. The borough is home to many notable landmarks, such as Alexandra Palace and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, and also Bruce Castle Museum, current home of the Highgate kiln.

Set up in 1994, the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s objectives are to conserve the UK’s diverse heritage, to encourage people to be involved in heritage and to widen access and learning”.As of 2019, it had awarded £7.9 billion to 43,000 projects.
